Impacting the learners' knowledge has never been an easy task for teachers. This is because we have different types of learners: fast learners and average learners. Most times, for a teacher to carry the whole class along, he or she would have to devise means of teaching in order to achieve positive results. However, it takes a passionate teacher who is committed to achieving the best in her job to tutor the learners while considering their different learning abilities.

*This brings me to answering the hive learners question in this edition contest on teacher's grading*.
 
[My best teacher]()
 
I have had good number of amazing teachers right from my primary school level, my secondary school level and my tertiary level. However I will love to discuss Mrs lucy who happened to by my favourite teacher while in my secondary level. 
 
Mrs Lucy was my biology teacher. This subject teaches us about the human body. The way Mrs Lucy approaches each topic in biology made me to fall in love with the subject. She is good in adding creativity while teaching. Her teaching method is more of demonstrations and practicals for a clearer understanding. She uses different kinds of teaching materials on every topics. With the look of things then, you can tell that she creates more time to work on a new topic before coming to stand in front of the classroom. Times, I wonder how she manages her time in creating some learning materials suitable for any topic she teach. She made me understand many things about human body in more simpler terms and this contributed in my decision to study a medical course. Nothing beats a strong foundation, Mrs Lucy laid a strong foundation for most people in my class who aspired to study medical course in the future.

Did I tell you that aside her teaching time table, she also made extra time for the average learners in our class? She is clear definition of a passionate teacher. She loved her salary but I think she derives more joy in seeing that her learners aren't lagging behind. Times she would teach those categories of students before the main school activities begins for the day or after school. This sacrifice she did was without a pay! I so much admired her way of teaching, so friendly type that made her students so comfortable with her while learning. Grading Mrs Lucy, I will give her 9.5/10 because she is an imperfect human like you and I .

I wouldn't say that Mr Matthew is my worst teacher because he tried his best in his capacity but I passed his course in the university through my personal effort. If I had relied on him, I would have failed his course! I understand that in tertiary level, lecturers doesn't teach but give lectures however with Mr Matthew style, he wouldn't even come to the lecture hall when he is supposed and when he manages to come, he reads **statistics** as if it's a theory course. He reads most of the topic for the day so fast as if he is reading news in TV. Not even a mild explanation, not even a good formula for the calculations involved. This course is so important for any final year student who is embarking on school project. I went extra mile researching, making friends who we found solutions to the course. This was the only thing that made me succeed in that course, I can say it was a blessing in disguise because he pushed me to be a good reasercher. If I should grade Mr Mathew, he will surely score 1/10 lol.

In conclusion, everyone who took the boldness to take up teaching job should be appreciated especially the dedicated ones. It will also be more better if passionate teachers dominate far more than those that are after **the monetary value only** .
