# #JunesJourney2020 - Day 27: Crystal fields Saturday's challenge was to include some Crystal Fields, which I've named the *Celestial Shards*, owing to their dazzling kaleidoscope of colours when the morning sun touches the field. Some of the shards are absolutely enormous, and the largest of them has been measured at a whopping 50 feet high. The shards are used in a variety of jewelry and other decorative pieces and seem to slowly replenish themselves - provided too much of the crystal isn't harvested. Testing has found that most shards will regrow if less than 50% of their mass is removed. <center> </center> # 28: Shipwreck graveyard On Sunday, I added Arn's End - a shipwreck graveyard owed largely to the bandits who plunder this coast. It was named after the first military captain to try uprooting the bandits when his entire navy was defeated and scuttled in the bay. <center> </center> # 29: Bamboo Forest Today we added a bamboo forest around Yondo's Temple, providing some atmosphere to the long-abandoned monastery - as well as a convenient source of several goods that the bandits are able to harvest for legitimate trade with the rest of the island. <center> </center> # One more day! Just one more day and we've completed the June's Journey mapmaking challenge! I'm adding ink to the map now as you can see, and while I'm sure that it won't be fully inked until sometime in July - I think all in all this has come along pretty nicely, and it has been an absolute blast to create!
