These reports are usually monthly, but since we have just entered a new year here, we will be summarizing the year. 

Here we will be presenting data on curation for authors and communities that are supported by OCD.

The following topics will be covered on a daily monthly and yearly basis:
- Number of votes 
- Unique authors voted 
- HIVE rewarded
- Unique communities voted 
- Top communities 
- Number of comments voted 
- Number of new accounts created


The period that will be covered here is the year 2023.

## Number of Votes 

Here is the chart for the number of votes per day for 2023.

As we can see the number of votes per day has been quite constant with a small drop in the period. On average the number of votes per day has been around 150, while for the year a total of **55,239** votes were distributed.  

## Unique Authors Voted 


Here is the chart for the number of unique authors voted daily.

There is a similar trend here as the overall count for votes.
On average somewhere around **150** unique authors per day were supported by OCDB. 

**Authors voted per month**

Here is the chart for the number of authors voted on a monthly basis.

We can notice a small drop in the number of monthly authors voted, but an overall steady number true the year with around **1400** authors supported monthly. 

A total of **4913** authors were voted on for the year 2023.




## HIVE Rewarded

Here is the chart for the amount of HIVE rewarded daily.

*Note that this is HIVE equivalent numbers, since half of the authors rewards are paid in HBD.*

A steady number here with a small drop throughout the year. On average around **2k** HIVE was distributed per day.
For the whole of 2023 a total of **735k** HIVE was distributed to authors supported by OCDB.


## Unique Communities Voted 


Here is the chart for the number of communities voted per day.

A small drop here as well. On average around **50** communities voted on a daily basis in 2023.

Between 130 to 170 communities voted on a monthly basis. 
For the whole year a total of **332** communities were supported by OCDB.



## Top Communities 

Here are the top communities that were voted on in 2023.

The Movies & TV Shows is the most supported community from OCDB in 2023, followed by Hive Gaming. Cinnamon and Photography lovers are next. 



## Number of Comments Voted 

Here is the chart for the numbers of comments voted on daily.

On average around 25 comments voted daily, for a total of 9,500 in the year. 


## Number of New Accounts Created

How is OCDB doing when it comes to onboarding?
Here is the number of new accounts created.

The new accounts are usually driven by the market conditions and the prices. As we can see, at the beginning of 2023 there was more new accounts created, and then a drop towards the end of the year. There was a jump in the numbers in August 2023 when more than 100 new accounts were created by OCDB for a few days. A total of **11k** accounts created by OCDB in 2023.

A total of **55k** votes, supporting almost **5k** authors in 2023, a 735k HP distributed as rewards to authors, 332 communities supported and a 11k new accounts created from OCDB in 2023.
