Two big things are coinciding today, so I will do a "mixed post"... Today is October 1st and you know that I'm a big fan of #HivePUD and I can't miss it... Also, today is Sunday, and that's the day when I'm doing #MyHiveGoals post which I don't like to miss either, so here we are... A bit of everything looks like a mess, but it all works for the same goal(s)! To grow the most valuable thing on this blockchain, the blood/data of the blockchain that runs through the blocks, the Hive Power!!! 🙂 <center>  *Created in Canva.com*</center> I would just like to give a big shoutout to the "1K Hive Power Up Club" members for motivating each other to do these power-ups in these not-that-easy times... Thanks, @achim03, @mypathtofire (more than 1K member 🙂), @gadrian, newly discovered member @ctrpch, and others! I think that without the support of each other, we wouldn't be able to do this! Just a reminder for those who are sitting on the sidelines... As the price of HIVE goes up, it will be harder and harder to power up some significant amounts... The moment for building your stack is now, or better said, it was yesterday but the second best is NOW... I'm grateful that I was able to do another 1K power-up, and I will try to continue doing that while I can! ##### Today is the 24th consecutive month of doing it! Two years of 1K power-ups! --- Still going strong on the other "front" with collecting #HivePUM badges! I got my 9th badge and will try to get the rest 3 this year! The HiveBuzz didn't update badges, so I can't post the screenshot... You gotta believe me that I did it in September... 😃 **To get this badge, you should power up at least 1 HIVE every day of the month OR create a post every day with rewards set to 100% HP...**  #### So, what is #HivePUD? >Just a short introduction to HivePUD... What does it mean at all? #HivePUD is shortened for the Hive Power Up Day. It's an event when Hive members power up their liquid HIVE and stop any active PowerDown! It is organized by great fellow Hivians @streetstyle and @traciyork and is held every 1st day of a month. As usual, in the beginning, let's check out HiveStats... <center>  *screenshot from hivestats.io* </center> Another great week with a standard 5 posts in a week! I have mentioned in the last report that it is the "right" number of posts that works for me very well... Writing posts takes time, engaging takes even more, and it's impossible to do more and remain active and respectful toward your audience... On top of that, checking out others' posts on HIVE and engaging with them is an additional time consumer... But, it's the best way to spend time!!! Author rewards were solid and while they weren't so crucial during the summer with 2-3 posts per week, now they are driving my **HivePower** numbers up! If I exclude today's 1K power-up, I have accumulated 226 **HivePower** in the last 7 days, again inside the weekly margins... Also, it's great to hit the HivePower monthly goal on the 1st day of October! **"Only" 2160HP more to get to the yearly goal!** --- I know that nobody likes to see his favorite tokens' price going down, but that's the way things work... There is no such token whose value will go straight up! It has to go up and down, and all around... The same thing happens with the LEO token that is currently losing its value, despite all the development that's happening in their kitchen... People are staying without the money and they cash out... If you are an investor, these market conditions are perfect for you as this is the moment when you BUILD your portfolio... You pick an asset that "fits" you, that you believe in, and deploy capital (money/time) into it... DCAing (dollar-cost averaging) is a great way to accumulate certain assets, and if you are doing it when the price is "searching" the bottom, that's even more effective than doing it in volatile conditions... Something like that is my strategy with LEO tokens... Yes, I'm far away from my monthly and yearly goals, but I'm not losing hope and patiently waiting for the opportunity... Slowly accumulating... This week, I have staked 93 LEO tokens more and added to my **LEO Power**... That's almost double the amount that I did the week before! <center>  </center> **GAMING GOALS - Flexible Goals** Oh, I forgot about the third biggest important event today! **The Rising Star New Cards Launch!** Every 1st of the month, we are getting new cards in the game which is an opportunity to collect them and get more points for the general rankings! I have already bought my 24 packs for tomorrow's opening! On the first day, whales are opening packs like crazy and I don't want glitches when I'm doing mine... 😃 From one side, this goal is "boring" as every week I collect the SAME number of cards as I open the same amount of packs! On the other side, I like it as the routine and consistency pay off as the results are predictable! What you see is what you get... 🙂 I'm planning to raise my weekly pack opening from 60 to 72 in the next few weeks and that could help me in pushing those numbers up faster... I'm still behind my monthly and yearly goals... --- We had some bad news regarding the Splinterlands team, which can be interpreted as good news as well... We have witnessed the team split into two different companies, Splinterlands and GLG, which could help both teams focus on their OWN stuff even more... There were some layoffs too, but that was expected, as these market conditions are fierce (as I have already mentioned that)... Anyway, I'm convinced that both teams will deliver their updates for the current products and I didn't change my strategy regarding my **GLX tokens** goal... I'm still in the **accumulation mode** and will continue with it... It was another week with fewer **GLX tokens**, but that's normal as other people think like me, accumulating and staking... So, I have added 2140 tokens and I should DOUBLE my initial goal until the end of the year!  It's time to update the numbers and put them into the spreadsheet until the next week!
