Being able to survive at this current crypto market is quite difficult. Let alone taking out profit at this current market. The bear season might take some time before we can see some growth in the coming days. Which is why there are certain facts which needs to be dealt with. For starters how would I survive and how wisely I can use the current situation of this bear market?

Honestly, I wish I was a whale! But let's come to the reality and deal with the present scenario. Every coin that I have in my portfolio is down atm. I am not panicking, neither I am going to sell them at this current price. But I also need to survive! While my instinct is saying something else. This prices, I might not see them any time soon. Although, we are not aware how low the crypto market is advancing towards but the present crypto is already low. Which is why, at the moment I am going to follow  my instinct. I will rather find some other way to survive in this bear market. But I am probably not sure how long will I be able to survive before I touch my crypto stash.

I have been continuously writing about HIVE for the last couple of days. As I have seen plenty of users are loosing focus due to price of HIVE but I have mentioned it countless times in my blog [rehan12](peakd.com/@rehan12/posts). I am also trying my best to follow those steps and increase my stake in here. Which is why I have been powering up HIVE, powering up posts (100%) and I as of now am standing at 3000 HP. Yes, it is not much in fact its nothing compared to the stake holders but I have been grinding my a** off to increase my stake and investing my time as much as possible in here to reach here. Yes, its a long way ahead of us but its a start. Just do your best and let HIVE take care of the rest.

The one and only Play to earn NFT game which has been giving a decent ROI on my investment. I am quite satisfied with all the things happening around Splinterlands. Even after all the incidents happened to its team(massive layoff) and the prices of cards and other assets of Splinterlands, the team has been making up for all the promises made to the community.  This is how things should be handled. 

I am aware of the fact how difficult it is for the team to handle such situations in this bear market. But the best thing which is happening here is that we are laying the foundation here. During this crypto bear market almost everything is cheap. But we have witnessed during the bull season how intimidating the prices surge is. Almost every assets within the game has seen a huge rise in price and they were astounding to witness such increases. make no mistake, those situations will arrive soon in Splinterlands. Let the bull market arise and we will see what really happens to them.

Since this is just speculation I deduced to few facts. When the market takes a positive hit and assets starts to rise few key elements will be seen. Average market condition! In this sector resides the cards, tokens  and other attributes related to the games. More scarce a token/asset is the more valuable it gets depending on the usability. In this case SPS can take a positive hit in terms of price as being the native currency backing up the system. I definitely think this can be huge considering the price of SPS as of the moment. 

Next comes the cards! Since Chaos legions packs are being burned everyday on next few months these cards are going to run out of circulation. Which is also a cause we might see a pump in the prices of these cards. We have already seen what has happened to the previous edition of cards once they run out of circulation. So keep that in mind as well.

I have been accumulating SPS from different sources. One of the main way is I am converting DEC to SPS. These are the DEC's which I am getting via renting out my cards. Another simple but yet effective way to utilize the cards in favor of the player. I am doing some trades once in a while, which is also helping me to increase my SPS stake as time is passing by. I desirably want couple of 100k's SPS but with the present scenario I can do so much. But yet, things should go on and our journey during this bear market shall keep on moving forward.

A week ago I made a post [here](https://peakd.com/hive-140217/@rehan12/how-splinterlands-as-a-play-to-earn-game-is-effecting-me) where my staked SPS balance was 37446 and as of today I have 38021. I was able to accumulate 575 SPS. All by staking rewards and also via using funds from other sources.

There are so many options to purchase cards from splinterlands. Thanks to @zaku bro for pointing out the fact of some of the cards and I was able to grab them just in case. Since I am not playing that much once in a while these suggestions does comes in handy. Although, I do plan to buy some cheap cards before they become pricey. The price of these cards are close to nothing but does feels good to have them into my card stash.

Although, I really want a max deck of Chaos legion but seems like it would be very close to impossible to get one due to the fact of my current position. But yet the target is on and I am definitely going to do my best to acquire them as much as possible before the price increases in the next bull run.

## One prime reason to like splinterlands

Bear market is rough! Surviving through it even harder. But Splinterlands has been making through it with lots of hustles. And the most important thing about the team is they are not giving up. They are constantly being in touch with the team and implementing different changes and improving the ecosystem everyday. That is how the team should be. Updates, communication and implementation. I want to use my funds in those projects where the team is dedicated and the community is there to back them up. As under this condition once the bear market ends things will turn out to be good.

At the end I just want to say, it is difficult for all of us. Crypto is never meant for weak people. Be here through this winter and be strong, the bull will take care of us, once it arrives! Decision is yours and you know what to do!
