Hello!

There are only 9 days until Bitcoin halving, which will take place in the first fortnight of May. It is one of the events that is causing the most debate in the cryptocurrency community.

Is the halving priced in or not priced in? Everybody is wondering this, but nobody knows. 
In recent days, Bitcoin has experienced considerable price growth, may this be due to FOMO? I think so. I am one of those that ara fomoing right now, and I am fighting myself to stay quiet and wait for a small dip to get in.

There will only be 21,000,000 of Bitcoins in total and there are 18,357,388 in circulation, this means that 87% of the total supply is already in circulation. The inflationary rate of Bitcoin is slowering over time until it reaches the maximum supply.
After this moment, the miners will be rewarded by transaction fees instead of "new money" entering the system. At this point, the currency will stop being inflationary at all.

And I would say more than that, it will become slowly deflationary as people losing access to their funds or losing their passwords will contribute in decreasing the available Bitcoins.


In 9 days the rate of the new Bitcoins generated per day is changing from 3.60% to 1.80% approximately. This is the first time that the rate of new Bitcoins will be lower than most of the fiat inflation which is ranging in western countries from 1-3% approx.

Most will say that with the new "brrrrrr" printing from central banks, fiat money like the $ will become hiperinflationary in the future.

What is sure, is that we are witnessing how more and more people are starting to take responsability of his own money, reasearching and being involved in cryptocurrencies. This is one of the major bullish signals I am seeing.
