I think I may have to get back in teaching game.... with a twist!
So I've been having a really hard time finding the motivation to keep up with my main blog over the past year.

I just haven't been feeling it, and i have a new theory as to why this is.

I think it's because there's no real definitive end point or goal to any of the work I do on it.

I just update posts or resources, mainly it's updating the core material these days: the core A-level content which drives most of the traffic.

And I get some advertising revenue from people reading, and I get some more revenue from resource sales, but when all one is doing is updating and tweaking, which is what I do, there's no real sense of achievement that goes with it all.

The days and weeks, and months and terms, and now the years just all sort of merge into one another!

It was different when I was focusing on producing new content: after say three months, you've got a new module with a new page, and you see a significant increase in traffic and revenue related to that.

But now I've got all the main revenue generating content I'm just keeping on top....

### So I think forcing myself to teach again is the way to go....

Not so much because I want to teach, but if I publish a teaching schedule of say live Webinars with the content in advance then I have specific end-points for updating the relevant content.

And with Webinars I could produce relative short, punch PowerPoints for the shows which give me something specific to add into my blog posts.

I lack video on my main site, but I am aware that producing really high quality vodcasts is very time consuming, but a swanky video doesn't have a lot to offer over a live presentation IMO.

So I think a way forwards for me is to do this: then I'd have to force myself to work to a schedule.

### Format of the Webinars....

Defo weekly, that much I know, defo focusing on short and sharp with updated material.

Whether I charge for them or not I am not sure....

I can see the advantage of doing some for free and then charging for others, charging being via subscription.

The advantage of free Webs is the traffic driving potential. And the clipping potential to make many short vids.

Also if they're free they could be a bit crap, which could well be how it all ends up, they are certainly not meant to be perfect, no lesson is.

But certainly this is my next step.... work on visual summaries into PPT for each topic area and then I've got slide shows, Webinar, summary visuals, and a Timetable to keep me on with updating.

### So it's back in the teaching game in the loosest sense of the word...

No marking, no stress, no responsibility.

Just one free Webinar a week and a bit of fun, hopefully.

We shall see how it goes!!!

And of course I can always make my most popular videos PPV down the line, I'm not a charity after all!!!
