Hello, wonderful friends in this beautiful community. How are you today Hive friends? I hope you are all fine and well. This post is long overdue but today, I will share with you how a certain event became successful because of unity and cooperation with one another. 

The year-end party happened around the school campus only yet the enjoyment and enthusiasm that the students showed were unforgettable and extraordinary.

Christmas is the most awaited moment that our dear students are waiting for. This is where they can show love and care for each other. From the planning down to the most awaited moment, surely students are very eager to join the fun and excitement.

The day before our year-end party, students are very eager to decorate their boards. They plan what to design, and what things are needed to purchase to come out with that extraordinary day in their life. The idea is to put balloons around, place a label saying merry Christmas on the center, and a piece of foil on the end portion.

Because the group wanted to have "Macho Gay", a kind of contest where boys act, dressed up like girls, with make-up, and showcase their talents in front of the class. Everybody agreed with the idea. So, students came to volunteer and are part of the contests. And to make the contest more vibrant, a dance number for them will be granted.

The students are very busy preparing their outfits and gifts. Some are busy packing their gifts and prizes for the games prepared. The contestants also are busy preparing themselves. Putting on make-up and fixing their hair and dress.

The program started with a prayer by one of my class officers in class. To entertain and be awakened by the event, the contestants gracefully dance in their production number.

The lovely candidates make their dance steps enjoyable and energetic. It was so fun seeing them enjoying their show. Of course, the interesting part, there will be winning contestants. The Grand Prize winner will get 250.00, the First Runner-up will get 150.00, the Second runner-up will get 100.00, and the consolation prize is 50.00 to each contestant.

With the help of my co-teacher, we choose one for the best in production number and best in talent. After the production number, they will also showcase their hidden talent. Some go for singing, and others go for dancing. It was so fun witnessing their show and the different talents they project in front. To test their intelligence, contestants will also be given an on-the-spot question. It was so overwhelming hearing their lovely answers.

**PICK UP A BOTTLE**

To make the year-end party more fun, games are also present. The first game they had is "pick a bottle". There are 4 pairs, each pair were given one plastic bottle. Whoever picks the bottle first will be the winner in pairs From 4 pairs down to 2 pairs, until such time there will be one pair until there will be one person to be declared as the winner.

**PAPER DANCE**

The next game is the paper dance. There will be 10 pairs for this game. Each pair will be given one newspaper. Music will be played and students will dance. When the song stops, pairs will stand on the newspaper page. If students do not step outside the newspaper page, another newspaper folding continues until there will be one pair standing.

**THE BOAT IS SINKING**

The participants are told to imagine that they are in a sinking boat. When the facilitator will say **"The boat is sinking..group yourselves into**, a specific number of people to form a group, the student also will look for members to be part of their group. Then the facilitator will count the number of people in every group. Groups that will not meet the number of members in their group will be out. Until one group will remain and is declared the winner.

Oh! my favorite part. Sharing of food for each other. Students bring their food to share with the class. The foods served are lumpia, spaghetti, pancit, chicken afritada, humba (tender pork dish), and grilled chicken. There are also shared sweets and drinks like Maja Blanca, mango float, buko pandan, and colas for each student. Students are very much eager to eat the food. Looking at the students eating, made me feel like the happiest adviser. Laughing together is the best.

**<center>Exchanging of Gifts</center>**

The next part of the program is the exchanging of gifts. Students were bringing their gifts with their worth 100Php or 1.81 USD. Any things which can be used for both sex. They were so excited to receive gifts from their classmates. Some wished to receive the teacher's gift. They would say "maynta ako ang makadawat sa imuhang putos ma'am (hopefully I will be the lucky person to get your gift). It's so overwhelming to hear such words from them.

For everyone to see the gifts received from their classmates, I told them to unbox the gifts. Seeing them unboxing their gifts is fulfilling. It can be seen on their faces the genuine happiness they feel after knowing the item inside.

Indeed, the day was full of fun and laughter. Without the unity and cooperation of my students, the event will not be successful. 

As an adviser, I'm glad that my parents and students were united and contributed their part. No one was left behind. Students went home with happy faces.
