What a year….. let’s recap it.
Afternoon everyone….

This could be a very lengthy post, but I will do my best to keep it as short and to the point as possible.

I my opinion the biggest thing that has happened this year is the cost of every day good going through the roof. Milk, eggs, bread, you name it it’s pretty much doubled in price this year. There are many people making very hard decisions on whether to heat their homes or eat. This is what things have come to in many areas. It’s very sad.

***As I digress….***

We have lost many famous people this year. Some from just old age, but several who lost battles with illness as well. We lost some iconic public figures such as Queen Elizabeth II, Barbara Walters, and Pope Emeritus Benedict.
Mobster/Mafia movies will never be the same with the losses of these actors. Tony Sirico, Paul Sorvino, James Caan and Ray Liotta.
We have also lost some historic sports figures. Vince Skully, Pele, Bill Russell, Franco Harris, Ray Guy, and Mike Bossy.
Ones that have made us laugh. Bob Saget, Gallagher, Louie Anderson, and Gilbert Gottfried.
Then there are the ones that iconic voices and trend setting music. Meatloaf, Taylor Hawkins, Coolio, Olivia Newton-John and Jerry Lee Lewis.

From historic leader to world class athlete, from the big screen of Hollywood, the comedy clubs across America to the volume dial on your stereo they will all be missed.

***In the world….***

Front and center is the Russian/Ukrainian war. While for the last few months seems to have slowed done as news. But I’m quite sure that it’s not over, and Russia is up to something in the weeds still.

Now this brings me to the world of finance. Bitcoin had had a treacherous year, currently standing at $16,587 versus the $47,738 it was on the first of 2022. While a bear market for crypto is upon us, I don’t think we have hit bottom yet. Especially with all the negative press surrounding crypto right now. Hive is also down considerably from $1.48 this time last year, to just over $.25 as of this post. I’m not worried about the Hive price in any way though, it’s not like many cryptos.

Gold and silver have had one hell of a roller coaster ride this year. We have had some nice highs and some extreme lows in my opinion. Gold is actually down from its closing year end price of $1,824.50 versus last years $1,829.05. Silver on the other hand has gained for the year closing at $23.98, versus a closing year end price of $23.32 last year.

Personally I think these prices are irrelevant. With the growing debt of every country increasing, all fiat currencies worthless, the instability and no where near over war in the Ukraine the prices of metal on the market is not what matters.

What matters is do you own silver and gold? Do you have a comfortable amount of it? If not I suggest you start figuring out how to get more in the physical possession. It’s going to be a horrible year monetarily for just about everyone reading this post.

## Say goodbye to 2022

# Unfortunately 2023 might be worse….
