Today I bring you images of the process of new objects that I have transformed. In common, all of them were reused and the cost of these renovations was zero. ## Strawberry vase Starting with the vase, I found it in a basement. It had been abandoned by someone there and was dirty and quite ugly. So I started spray-painting it and then I drew the hearts on it. I wanted this vase to have clear kitsch influences and even the more recent "danish pastel" style. I', very much in love with it and it turned out much better than I expected. I am also proud of the improvement in my drawing skills.    ## Lamp Switch The second item I recently transformed into my decor was this switch. I took advantage of the fact that I already had the paints ready for the strawberry vase renovation and went to paint the switch. It was right in the middle of a gallery wall that I set up in my home office and was compromising the aesthetics of the composition. I painted it using red PVA paint and then randomly drew roses all over its area. I thought the result was very cute and formed an interesting composition with the rest of the wall.   ## Trash can The third object that I recently restored to match more with the deocration of my house was this industrial style trash can. It was black and all metal. I got it from a friend who was getting rid of it. However, I have a great difficulty to use black in decoration. So I decided to paint it pink. I used some spray paint that I had left over from other projects and then drew the flowers by hand with PVA paint. I thought the result was very fun and for sure now this piece will make my kitchen more colorful. As soon as I finished the play, it went under the careful supervision of Tofu Augusto. Doing these small projects has been a very effective way to control my anxiety. So I've been investing a lot of my time doing it. In addition, I've been using this content and the renovation process to feed my decorating inspiration channel on social media: A Alma da Casa. I feel that I am contributing in some way to encourage people to make their homes more attractive and cozy, with projects that cost very little money. I love the possibilities that diy brings, and how these projects democratize the beauty in interior design, for people who don't normally have the chance to afford a professional decorator or designer. I know many people treat interior design as a futility or something totally unimportant, but just being in a beautiful, functional environment that inspires you is essential, especially for those who seek to be embraced by their home or use it as a workplace. Being in a well-decorated space helps us stay creative. I hope you have enjoyed the objects I have created around here and I look forward to reading your comments.
