Hello Everyone,

I learnt in economics that demand is directly related with supply and thus influences the prices. This is what I am seeing now a days once the demand for goats started increasing in our area. We'll that sounds very awkward but that is the truth and day by day everybody trying to own one and at a reasonable prices. In few days I will able to see a he'd competition  in my area and people visit each other home to check on the quality of goats.

The time of the year has come when people started to look for a goat. Thigh it is not mandatory for everyone still many is desperate to have one. The reason as the days of Durha Puja gets nearer people started to look for a goat. They actual need them to sacrifice. Today I went to a nearby barber soap only to see people visiting his home for looking out his strong buy. He bought a good quality goats at a reasonable price. Not only this, even the daily or weekly markets witness huge demand for goats. This is a culture or tradition that has been going on since ages and people feel that by sacrificing goat they able to please goddess Durga and take blessing. That sound quite cruel way but this is how things goes on around the region. This is age old practices and noone bother to stop.
