@jumowa instigated this Steemit challenge. Last week it was just the two of us, so I did okay. I know there are lots of runners on Steemit, so let's make this a bigger deal. It was a chilly 1C when I set off this morning. I needed my gloves, but I was warm by the end. It's been a pretty bright and dry day. Not many runners out on my regular loop. I just did the short version as we were going out for the day. The pace was not great, but I was getting some twinges from my left calf, so I took it easy and just kept on going all the way. I need to work out how to get my new fitness watch to record heart rate during the run, but I've read that it's only really reliable if you are not moving too much. It was cheap, so I'm not too worried. I can at least see if I recover well and log my resting heart rate. It was up around 140 as I walked the last stretch back to home.

Google Fit shows I was pretty active. We went shopping and walked a lot. I've corrected it a bit as it logged some running when I was actually walking at the shopping centre. You can manually set what you are doing, but I generally leave it on automatic unless I'm actually out for a run.
