Personal tournament review ** Hivechess S1R11 ** , I won again!!!
Hello fellow chess enthusiasts,

So as usual, i am just going to go through one of my game that i really liked in this event and my thought about this round of event overall.

The 11th round of the weekly saturday Hivechess Tournament by @sam.chess was played yesterday, and once again, i was able to finish top of the event for the second time ever. Haha Sounds like a new Personal best for me in the weekly Hivechess event by @sam.chess.
the fun thing about this particular edition was that it was a close fight to the end as @poseout87 was in the lead for most part of the tournament and i was only able to override his position with a Cristiano Ronaldo's clutch type of game. Also, we had @jaki01 , @mendelito ,@maestroask ,@stuffings and @stayoutoftherz on the Final Top Ten Standing of this event.

## TANGIBLE_AY VS MADCHESS64

I enjoyed this particular game beacuae of the important lesson learnt from the game, i opened with the normal Kings pawn, my opponent replied with the french defense, for some weird reason during the game i imagined this line wrongly and took this to be the caro_kann,as i wanted to try a very doubtful gambit against it, lets take a moment to go through the actual game;
1.e4 e6
2.d4 d5
3.Nc3 dxe4
4.Nxe4 Nf6
5.Ng5

In what would have been the correct position, white's trick was to tempt black to play the move h6, then sacrifice the Knight on the f7 sqaure, but here as seen in the game black had the counter Bb4+ after

5... c5
6.c3 cxd4
7.cxd4 Bb4+

From this position, black was already better as blocking the check with Bd2 lead to a loss of pawn, the only move to avoid a pawn loss would have been the terrible Ke2.

Sooner as the game progressed i was able to equalise as my opponent wasn't so clincal with their moves.

Although, i was able to win my opponent on time but the final position was just a dead drawn game, the Knioght can always win the Queen if black promotes on b1 with Na3+ fork, and go after the white pawn with his Knight with the same idea(Forking the Pawn and the King) in mind.

### The Correct Move Sequence

This would have been the correct move sequence that i wanted to play, as i have watched the alien ganbit played by another chess player on Youtube but this gambit arises only from the caro_kann defense, as you can see the black e7 pawn has not moved. The Bb4+ is impossible here, which was the main differnce with this and the line i went for in the game.
As chess players we we can relate this kind of incident to real life where we tend to make or copy decisions from other people's lives without properly considering the subtle differences we are faced with and with other people's lives.
