Hola hermosa comunidad, estuve algo ausente esta semana, y es que cuando tenemos a nuestros hijos enfermos realmente es difícil concentrarnos en otra cosa.

Como sabemos después del Covid 19, las gripes han cambiado un poco y es que generalmente estamos acostumbrados a que de una gripe de con fiebre, quizás catarro, dolor muscular y finalmente tos, pero en los últimos días están dando gripes algo extrañas y parece que su proceso de evolución es al revés, en el caso de mi hijo, él estaba bien y  comenzó de la nada con tos y carraspera. 

Esta tos iba y venía con el transcurso de la semana, es decir, tenía tos tres días y dos días se curaba completamente, reconozco que fue un proceso gripal muy extraño, no hubo fiebre, ni dolor, tampoco malestar y como la tos era muy leve y le daba de vez en cuando, pues esto no prendió mis alarmas y yo opté por darle antialérgico.

Así fueron pasando aproximadamente quince días hasta que al parecer de repente se curó  del todo, pero lo que yo no esperaba era que tres días después  me le diera una tos crónica que no lo dejaba ni comer y mucho menos dormir,  cómo dije esta tos fue sin indicios de gripe ni nada de eso.

Al principio todo parecía apuntar que era una tos alérgica y comencé a darle  cetirizina, pero esta tos solo se quitaba cuando le daba cetirizina, así que decidí comprar ambroxol guiándome por un récipe viejo que tengo de su pediatra, pero al parecer la tos empeoro, así que decidí comprarle el antibiótico que indicaba el récipe,  aclaro que no soy una mamá que le apasiona dar antibiótico a los niños, pero en casos extremos cuando ellos no salen del proceso bronquial hay que hacerlo.

En mi caso tengo más de cuatro años, si mal no recuerdo, incluso más sin dar antibiótico a mi hijo, ni siquiera con el Covid 19 lo utilice, así que como no me quedaba de otra compré el antibiótico que indicaba el récipe viejo que tengo de la pediatra.

 Quizás muchos me pregunten por qué no lo lleve a un centro de salud, y  aquí voy a ser muy sincera con ustedes, le tengo fobia a los ambulatorios de mi país,  es que realmente  ir a un ambulatorio no es negocio y quizás muchos coincidan conmigo.

Les cuento que hace poco una amiga casi pierde a su hijo porque le inyectaron una dexametasona vía endovenoso, en el ambulatorio, el niño llego con paro respiratorio al hospital donde llamaron al especialista para que lo atendiera, también supe de una bebé de meses que le mandaron ambroxol y cosas así, y bueno no soy la única que le tiene miedo a los ambulatorios, pero aquí no es una opción viable. 

Entonces ir a un ambulatorio no es decisión hoy en día, por eso opté por hacerle el mismo tratamiento de la última vez, hace más de cuatro años y bueno aquí una consulta es en dólares y el poder adquisitivo ha bajado bastante, cosa que también me tiene mal, pero como siempre guardo los récipes importantes por las indicaciones, pues use uno de su pediatra.

También les cuento que soy poco amiga de los remedios naturales, pero me dijeron que el jengibre lo podía ayudar, así que le estoy dando también, entre las medidas que he tomado en el hogar,  le prohibí el agua fría y anda abrigado, también lo deje de reposo en casa y esto en contra de su voluntad y cerré por completo la ventana de su cuarto, además él se baña solo al medio día con agua caliente.

Les cuento que por aquí el clima está algo complicado con las lluvias, también mucha humedad y frío y eso no ayuda en nada en el proceso bronquial de mi hijo.

Al día de hoy su evolución ha sido bastante exitosa, ya lleva tres días con antibiótico, ambroxol y cetirizina. Ha mejorado en un 70% y eso me tiene más tranquila.

Los primeros días la tos era cada minuto y me tenía con los nervios de punta, estresada, nadie dormía solo sufriendo por la tos, en mi caso tanto la tos persistente cómo la fiebre son cosas que me alteran emocionalmente y bueno como muchos saben soy una mamá un poco nerviosa y ver a mi hijo enfermo me desajuste emocionalmente.
