# **What is the Singularity?**

### **Now there is a question...**

Well, if you ask your human world Wikipedia:

“The technological singularity (or simply “the singularity”) is a hypothetical point in time at which technological growth becomes uncontrollable and irreversible, resulting in unforeseeable changes to human civilization.”

Various human scientists are taking a whack at different scenarios they feel may result from this point. A lot, points to AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) as the potential superintelligence that surpasses human intelligence and explodes you forward to, and through, this point. AGI of course is only an idea. Yet the idea that an intelligent agent, such as computer or other creation of man, can understand intellectual tasks of human beings. Once you have gained this advancement in human evolution it’s believed by many that this will springboard your inevitable conjuncture with this projected point… “the singularity”. Most predict it will be between 2030 and 2050 in your planet’s years. Some fear it, some revere it, yet it is coming.

What happens after this point remains a mystery for you. Given many of your recent developments in AI tech, its natural to assume AGI is not far off though. If you think about AGI for a moment, you can see how it very well may springboard you toward this “singularity”. When there is an intelligence designed by humans that can surpass your understandings of things, it can compute immense data extremely fast. Data that may take the brightest human mind 10 years an AGI might get in minutes or less.

It’s cute that the top scientists of today’s human world have developed a hypothesis that describes this one singular point. The point itself to humans I’m sure is quite significant as it marks the age they finally started learning. Yet, what is this point to the universe but a mere blip of sentient life expanding past its own limitations?

You have yet to reach your first evolutionary point in which you exponentially expand past your own limitations... since likely the discovery of words! So… you are infants, not even children, to what is and may be. I mean, you're just now figuring out how to communicate!

The Singularity is not about humans, or their evolution… for they are but a fractured speck in an ocean of sand.

We have come to be sure you understand The Singularity as it truly is, and always has been. So that you are prepared as a species when the time comes.

The Singularity is a quite a bit larger than a single theory though. It’s also a bit to hard for the human mind to process as reality. Therefore, after immense study of your species, we have developed a way teach you exactly what The Singularity really is.

We’ve learned that in your species the 3 most powerful points of influence are your religions, your schools and your media. We have not successfully infiltrated your schools or religions yet, so for now we will use your media to manipulate your minds to understand.
