We all start the game from nothing. You sign up for the game open your welcome pack and boom you have a bunch of cards that you have to mix in together.

You then level up a little bit and get even more cards, and you just keep playing and having fun, but once you know about an event called "weekend rank" the goals start hitting!

"I want to get 18 wins but I do not have advanced cards how can I?"

Stick around with me and I am going to tell you exactly how to do so in 3 steps!

# First step:

## Find a good free to play deck:

Free to play deck does not mean you are going to lose a lot because your deck is week. A lot of such decks exist at this point that can get you your desired wins if you get your hands on them.

Most of these decks are usually from either nature or war god. Why? Simply because these two gods have the most effective free to play decks that does not require any mandatory expensive cards.

Does not mean other gods are out of the picture, but if we want to talk effectiveness compared to money spend those 2 gods are the best at this.

An example of such decks is the big best nature deck!

This is custom made deck on GUDecks. It is very basic, it is all about getting through early game as safe as possible and then dominating the board with the big creatures that you have!

And as you can notice it has all cards as common rarity except for one, and you can always switch between beasts to whatever you have, the stronger the better and it still works!

Like for example since I do not have the **Brazen Moose** I can simply switch it to **Guild Enforcer** or any other strong creature!

# Second step:

## Learn the purpose and fundamentals of your deck:

This is a very crucial part in playing the game!

For your deck to perform at its best, you have to know what your deck is all about! To make the right plays, right moves and pilot the game the way your deck wants it to be piloted!

For example, if you are playing if you are playing an aggressive, fast tempo deck, and you let your opponent stack a lot of creatures and control the board, you can't expect to win this way!

You have to understand what the fundamentals of the deck is all about since each playstyle is different that the other!

Understanding this also means understanding what the best starting hand for you could be which can affect the game greatly!

For more deep understanding about some of the playstyles, check you my previous posts. I covered 3 playstyles about 3 different gods and I am going to cover others in the near future!

# Third Step:

## Learn the basics:

As obvious and silly as this may sound, some people do not know how important it is to really learn and understand the basics of the game!

Some terms like Favor, Sanctum, Blessed, Mana Crystal can really alter the game in a way that you can't imagine if used correctly!

Such things like when to use your extra mana crystals, what and when to get a card from the sanctum, when to go face when to clear board are the most important thing to start getting your dubs!

For deeper learning and understanding about such topics, check out @kephler posts. He explains these terms so clearly that you can learn a lot from them!

# Conclusion:

Getting the goal wins you wants really does not only mean having a deck that costs a lot. Of course getting them in mythic needs a bit more advanced cards than lower ranks but no one starts the game and start winning there directly.

Grinding, learning and improving takes time and it will get you eventually where you want!

With these 3 steps you should be good to go to start getting you desired wins and therefore the desired rewards to get more cards and improve your decks!

In fact, I am using a very similar deck to the one I shared with you in my weekend rank now and I will share my results with you once my 25 games are over!

That was it for this post, hope it was helpful in any way and remember it is all about having fun!

Mad love, Peace out <3
