I may be proud of myself after getting the image of a close-up of some local birds known as "pirits" or Eurasian tree sparrows. It was impossible to get a better photo if we had a good phone for getting a close-up photo of any birds since the birds will fly before we come closer to them.   ## GADGET DO MATTER The right lens to use for birding is a telephoto lens. Usually , 70 - 200 mm lenses is the first choices by many birded . I don't have the lenses yet, but I plan to get 200–600 mm lenses for my first tele lenses. The distance of lenses is very important to get better photos and quality. Recently, me and @gideongys were very excited to venture into birding. During our last outing, we had the opportunity to test Canon tele lenses. The photo that I captured was taken using a Canon R8 with 100–500 mm lenses, while @gideongys used a Canon R7 with 800 mm lenses at that time.  The funny thing is, you can count how many birds we can see at that time. The Canon guy who loaned that camera to us and is also a die-hard fan of birding says that it was very hard to see birds at noon because they were moving from place to place at that time. They are like humans too, in that they only come out early in the morning and in the evening. Getting those photos above actually already makes us excited. We were hunting for the birds for almost 2 hours plus at that place, but luck was not with us. Here is another photo that was taken at that time.  We had a fun time at that time.
