A few days ago I was at home working with my laptop and suddenly I fell abruptly to the floor, the table where I was sitting collapsed, it was a strong impact to my body, I was almost breathless on the floor for a few seconds until I had the courage to get up. After a while I looked for the hammer and put the table back together again, I did not dare to sit on it again because it needed reinforcement. ------------------------- --------------- --------------- The good thing is that I didn't simply set the little table aside or send it to the trash, I enjoyed putting it back together again, with hard and precise strokes, at least apparently it looks good although nothing heavy should be placed on it. ---------------------------- | --|--| ---------------- I have always liked to do some things that are not normally associated with women, however, times have changed so much and in many societies you see anyone doing a variety of tasks regardless of their gender. For example, changing the gas cylinder in my kitchen is tricky and sometimes you have to apply a little bit of force. I have to try several times until I finally get it right. In this sense I recommend not to do it if you do not know how it works because maneuvering this type of artifact is dangerous, on the other hand, with basic knowledge, the relevant care and the desire and need to do it is quite simple after you already have practice. | --|--| -------------------- Speaking of male hands, recently I had to install the satellite TV antenna in my house and I asked my neighbor, who is dedicated to that, how much was the cost for the installation, he replied that it was $ 10, so to save me that money that I currently require for other things, I looked for several tutorials on Youtube to do the installation and got down to work. It would not be so difficult for me because I know the theoretical part quite well for having spent a few years working in a famous satellite TV company and although my job was not to install antennas, I know what should be done. I also remembered that a few years ago I installed the antenna at my sister's house without anyone's help. Of course, I spent about 3 hours trying to locate the signal and when I was about to give up, the image on the TV screen made it clear to me that it had all been worth it. This time, I started to assemble the antenna and fixed the mast to the balcony with security straps and wire, because of the location I really needed a helping hand, male or female, to help me hold the dish to place it. The same neighbor saw me on the balcony and was surprised to see how advanced I was in the process and offered to finish helping me without having to pay him because the work was almost finished. In a few minutes the installation was finished, I thanked the guy with a cup of coffee and some raw food, in some cases, this is how they pay nowadays in our beautiful Venezuela. Although for this task I was lucky enough to have help, I am sure I could have done it alone, of course it would have taken me more time and if I had not taken that first step, nothing would have happened, at least that day. | --|--| <center>**What I would like to emphasize is that we are not limited in the tasks we can do just because we are women. We should not always wait for a male hand to come along and do what we can do ourselves.**</center> ---------------- ----------------- # <center>Thanks for reading</center> ---------------- ----------------- Photographs from my personal gallery
