The dust of the terrific LeoThreads haven't settled yet and Leo Community have got another event approaching, i.e. 3rd LPUD. Although Leo Finance is quite a dynamic place, with Khal & the team rolling out exciting updates every now and then. Things seldom boring around here, but still I love the idea of monthly reoccurring event like LPUD, as it keeps thing warm and dynamic. 

#### Why LPUD?
- LPUD generates a true community feel by providing community a common goal to aim at and act coherently like a single organism. I simply love the community feel aspect of LPUD.
- Plus powering up is a natural way of increasing one's say in the community by holding more and more $LEO stakes.
- Also no need to emphasize what continuous powering up means for the long term economic prospect of the Leo platform and under laying $LEO token.



#### What's Different About This LPUD?
LPUD have been growing in popularity since it started about 3 months ago. We are having increased participation with increasing number of $LEO getting staked. Naturally, this have also started to reflect in $LEO token price. So, compensate for $LEO price hike and encourage maximum participation $LEO power up requirement have been tapered off from 200 $LEO to 150 $LEO. The rest of the requirements remain unchanged.

For those looking to participate in LPUD for the first time, here are the requirements:

1. You must have at least 200 $LEO Power or less than 20,000 $LEO Power on your account before powering up for LPUD.
2. Power Up at least 150 or more $LEO coins on 15th August.
3. No Power down during last 30 days (i.e. 15th July to 15th August)
4. Write a Post on Leo Power Up Day(LPUS) and tell the community reason why you like to power up and what is the benefit of LPUD. For said post use #LPUD tag. Tweet your post link with #hive #leofinance, #cryptocurrency and #lpud tags.

Like always there is a bumper prize of $20K $LEO power delegation for 3 lucky participants. And on top of it following 8 bonus $LEO power delegation prizes are also there:

#### Previous LPUDs Stats
LPUD have been a massive success so far and they way Leo community have responded to the call is indeed worth applauding. For the first LPUD we got 174K $LEO powered up and for the second one 193 K $LEO were staked. With minimum entry requirement reduced by 25%, I expect this LPUD will beat the previous two for sure and we may have 200K+ $LEO powered up.
