Good day everyone.. This is my celestial challenge on agriculture. Initiated by @sirknight. Today is a very happy day for me and I just want to use the theme for today which is **_light_** as an avenue to thank some persons for their clearly good work.

# Steemit Open mic crew on steemit as a light shed on our musicality in the dark.

Yes they are light on us. I remembered telling a friend that if he sings his song on an open mic competition, he would gain more appreciation than he had ever got from the locals here in my country. Although for my sake, he was optimistic and tried it out. Here has been the result so far

That is my friend @mrprecious. He is a very talented musician, but in a wrong location. He just got sound legions nomination for a number one place in the competition. I told him so is what I am singing to him right now. 
Myself as a person, I love and have a flare for Good music. But it wasn't showcased because of the kind of music our society appreciates. In my subjective opinion, I would say a less talent more madness kind of music. My first week on steemit, I was graced by the judges and the organiser of the Open mic community. I really need that as I was already giving up on the whole musical expression thing. The next week, I came out 5th overall and here I am cheerful because of the fact that I was giving in to the  spot light amidst darkness. Now my friends are being also recognized too. Do you know what it is to upvote and give encouraging comments on over 150 entries weekly, and still come back to give judgements? The Open mic crew are the best and I remain forever Lit by their efforts .
