Hello dear Hivers ! Once again, the weather has moved in its usual direction and here we are a week later. I have to say that I had a feeling that with the start of the new school year and this new adventure, I was going to have less time, but I wasn't expecting such a radical change ! *And to think that I didn't take the time to reply to last week's kind comments... Which I'll do as soon as I've finished my article! Which I'll do as soon as I've finished my article !* <br>   <br> Today I'd like to show you a few images of the field above our house, which was just mown a few days ago. I know that for the sake of biodiversity, it needs to be left to rest for a while, but it's nice to have a bit of a clean slate so we can see what we're going to do ! Besides, I don't want the brambles to take over too quickly ! As you can see, it doesn't have many trees, but you can count on us, it'll fill up in due course haha :) <br>   <br> At the moment, apart from the big oak, the (small) trees are mainly on the borders and there are a few hawthorns on the sides. Ideally, I'd like to let that develop further, as it's the birds that sow the seeds around the fences. <br>  <br> A small fragment of a wasp's nest from last year among the freshly cut grass... <br>  <br> Here is another view of the field with the forest surrounding it to the north and west in the background. <br>   <br> And here's the field below that I want to start investing in this winter, which means I want to plant at least a dozen of the first trees. We'll see if we can get to twenty ! <br>  <br> And here's the result of our calculations as to the surface area of this one: 957 square meters, which leaves us plenty of room for a good number of new plants ! Encore une fois, le temps aura couru dans sa direction habituelle et nous voilà une semaine plus tard. Je dois dire que je pressentais qu'avec la rentrée et cette nouvelle aventure qui commence, j'allais avoir moins de temps, mais je ne m'attendais pas à un changement aussi radical ! *Et dire que je n'ai pas eu et pris le temps de répondre aux gentils commentaires de la semaine dernière... Ce que que je ferrai dès la fin de mon article !* <br>   <br> Aujourd'hui, je vous présenter quelques images du champ au dessus de chez nous et qui vient juste d'être fauché il y a quelques jours. Je sais que pour la biodiversité, il faudrait le laisser un peu au repos, mais c'est bien d'avoir un peu la place nette pour voir un peu ce que nous allons faire ! Et puis je n'ai pas envie que les ronces l'envahisse trop vite ! Comme vous pouvez le voir, ce n'est pas très arboré, mais vous pouvez compter sur nous, cela se remplira en temps et en heure haha :) <br>   <br> Pour le moment, en plus du gros chêne, les arbres (petits) sont surtout sur les bordures et on trouve notamment quelques aubépines sur les côtés. Dans l'idée, j'aimerai laisser cela se développer encore, comme ce sont les oiseaux qui sèment cela à l'aplomb des clôtures. <br>  <br> Un petit fragment de nid de guêpes de l'année dernière parmi les herbes fraîchement coupées... <br>  <br> Voilà une autre vue du champ avec en fond, la forêt qui encercle le tout au nord et à l'ouest. <br>   <br> Et voilà le champ en contrebas que je souhaite commencer à investir dès cet hiver, c'est à dire que je souhaite planter d'au moins une bonne douzaine de premiers arbres. On verra si on arrive à en mettre vingt ! <br>  <br> Et voilà le résultat de nos calculs quant à la superficie de celui-ci : 957 mètres carrés ce qui nous laisse amplement de quoi mettre un bon nombre de nouveau végétaux !
