Today I come to perform a song from a Spanish group called MEGARA and the song is called "Hocus Pocus", I am excited because I will share with you a song that is important and full of magic. "This is a song where the artist Kenzy was inspired by the movie Hocus Pocus, a song full of magic, with a great message based on her life, where she talks about bullying and how through music and magic she wants to escape. I chose this song because I feel very identified, when I was a teenager I lived bullying, I was judged for being a rocker and they called me a witch, because many of us have lived in a society where being ourselves and choosing what we like, means not fitting in and not meeting the expectations of others and many dream of surviving in a world of villains as the song says, villains who only live by appearances. Being and thinking different, being yourself and not following the fashions and the same beliefs of others, does not make you less human, does not make you a bad person, we are all unique. True beauty is to shine your own light and be yourself UNIQUE AND DIFFERENT." </div> Un mágico saludo para toda la comunidad de Hive Open Mic estoy muy feliz de participar otra semana más, para compartirles mi talento, así aprender más e interactuar y nutrirme de muchos conocimientos y consejos para mi crecimiento como artista. Hoy vengo a interpretar una canción de un grupo español llamado MEGARA y la canción se llama "Hocus Pocus", estoy emocionada porque les compartiré un tema que es importante y lleno de magia. "Está es una canción donde la artista Kenzy se inspiró en la pelicula Hocus Pocus, un tema lleno de magia, con un gran mensaje basado en su vida, donde habla del bullying y como a través de la música y la magia desea escapar. Elegí esta canción porque me siento muy identificada, cuando yo era adolescente viví el bullying, fui juzgada por ser rockera y me decían bruja, porque a muchos nos ha pasado que vivimos en una sociedad donde ser nosotros mismos y elegir lo que nos gusta, significa no encajar y no cumplir con las expectativas de los demás y muchos soñamos con sobrevivir en un mundo de villanos como dice la canción, villanos que solo viven de apariencias. Ser y pensar diferente, ser tu mismo y no seguir las modas y las mismas creencias de los demás, no te hace menos humano, no te hace mala persona, todos somos únicos.
