Today in this series we will read about Solang Valley located at the feet of Manali Leh Highway.     Solang Valley is most famous among the tourists because it is the only place where tourists find snow on the road itself. Solang Valley is also famous as Adventure Valley. Tourists get a chance to do all kinds of adventures on the roadside. Solang Valley is situated at the confluence of Dhauladhar mountain range and Pir Panjal mountain range. The altitude here is 2450 meters and there are so many places to visit here that even a week would be less.     Talking about trekking, there are many famous treks by doing which you can call yourself a mountaineer, such as Anjani Mahadev, Patalsu Peak, Beas Kund, Friendship Peak, Kothi, Gulaba, Bhrigu Lake, Vashishtha Temple, Manali, Lamadug, Rohtang Pass. , Palchan, Old Manali, Hamta Pass, Khampri Tibba, Ranisui Lake, Chandratal Lake, Lahaul Valley, Atal Tunnel, Spiti Valley, Kullu Valley, Cloth, Hidimba Temple, Jogini Waterfall and Madhi are the places where you can trek and visit. Any one will take 1-3 days.    Talking about other adventures, paragliding is done here in Solang Valley, Madhi, Kothi and Dobhi. Because the wind is very strong here, I don't like flying here at all. Hot air balloon is a great option to see yourself flying in the air. Snow scooters and skis that can only be enjoyed in winters.    You can make your day fun by including activities like river crossing, boulder climbing, zoobering etc. with your family. I go to Solang Valley twice every year but do not do adventure activities but due to my nature I like trekking very much so I go only for trekking. And on the day when I am very tired, I go to Vashisht hot water pool where I relax my body.    So that's it for today's post, some other time I will give some more information about Solang Valley.
