While scanning the feeds, I came upon a random and vague statement: an artist there said he made money on a site called steemit. I had never heard of steemit, and I'm not even an artist, so the statement really shouldn't have encouraged me to check it out. But check it out I did, and ever since it's like a whole new world has opened up 

@jpgaltmiller came to steemit to check out the possibilities of earning money and cryptocurrency, but he soon learned there is so much more to steemit. He has made some great business contacts and has plans to stay here long term. He's loving the blockchain world and  learning about the values of sbd and steem.

# <center>Registration Fee Increase to 4 STEEM</center>

<br>

When Qurator started **148** days ago the registration fee was **1SBD/STEEM** after 100 members we had to increase the fee to **2SBD/STEEM** to make room for new members and get more Delegations in order to keep the upvotes fair to investors/supporters. 

We kept the fee to **2SBD/STEEM** for the next **900 members** but now that we have grown as much as we did and the fact that SBD/STEEM prices are so volatile. We will be changing the Registration fee to **4 STEEM (NOT SBD)**. We will no longer accept SBD for registration, simply because we need the STEEM to lease and renew Delegations from the @minnowboosters market. We do this with a heavy heart but it is necessary to keep up with our current leases and to get some new ones in order to keep supporting new members. If we do not increase the fee, we will not be able to accept new members. That is not something we want to do, but sadly we are not getting much whale support on when it comes to upvoting the Qurator Posts. 

Effective immediately as soon as we reach **1000 members** the fee will be increased to **4 STEEM**. Currently at **962 members** there are **38 slots** left at the old rate. After they have been approved and registered it will be **4 STEEM**.

<center>RIP Streemian and hello Steemauto! The new curation trail is active and running! If you would like to support your fellow Qurites or just earn some extra curation feel free to join our curation trail that is active on Steemauto. 

We suggest not following the trail with 100%, steemauto has 2 ways of following a trail, static or scaled. We suggest using **SCALED** instead of static since static votes can add up quickly and drain VP very fast. We suggest using scaled and then maybe around 25%.

Steemauto can show us who is currently on the trail and at what percentage. Looking forward to see more Qurites joining the trail in the near future! We also reward the team players and there might be a nice surprize for a lucky trailer. =P </center>
