A long time ago, at the time when bloody fights ruled the world, Men only knew the taste of the sword, where any reason was synonymous with struggle and war between peoples, something unexpected happened.
The sun cast its shadow, the earth turned black, it looked like dark sand, the wind stopped blowing, and the water disappeared from the lakes and rivers.
The shadow took on the age of men, day turned to night and stayed that way for a long, long time.
A curse has taken over the land, the elements have been trapped inside a vault by an evil being called Argamon.
The elements earth, air, water and fire disappeared from the face of the earth, men attributed this phenomenon to a curse from the gods because of their fights, they started praying to the gods and making sacrifices but nothing changed, everything remained the same.
Nature disappeared the trees withered the animals died, there was no more hope on Earth, men, women and children began to emigrate but where, there was no salvation on Earth.
On an ancient mountain where Olympus (kingdom of the Gods) lived, a sage was in a trance for over a thousand years.
He stayed that way to protect the land when darkness fell on it.
Argamon was creating an army to spread darkness across the entire planet Earth, there was only one place he could not enter until now it was the realm of the Goblins, small creatures that lived in peace spreading their magic dust with joy.
The sage all called them the White Arrow, he could only be awakened from his state if a part of the key touched his heart.
The key in which Argamon closed the elements had been broken in two before being imprisoned by the wise White Arrow, but he did not die and only when the key was complete, the two parts were united, in this way the elements could be freed and the Earth would survive.
A part of that key was missing, it had fallen into a large crevice where a river flows under the mountain of Plim, it was in this mountain that Argamon was defeated and the key was broken, but the elements were closed by it and without the other part of the key they would never be released.
After more than a thousand years Argamon was back, he still had not assumed a human figure, his understanding of him manifested itself by entering the heads of Men and they blindly followed his orders.
No one could object, this being of darkness was trying to retrieve the other part of the key so that the elements could never be retrieved again and darkness prevailed forever.
"Hey Trevor let's go fishing" said one goblin to the other
"Hey Sam, but let's catch some nice fish for dinner." Sam answered.
"Let's hurry up" Trevor told Sam.
"Sam, Sam look I got something" said Trevor to Sam
The fishing rod gave a signal and Trevor was pulled by the fishing rod into the water.
Sam pulled Trevor by his feet and caught a huge fish, it was one of the biggest salmon he had ever seen and they spent ten minutes enjoying the creature.
They had little strength, but there they managed to take the huge fish to their village and when opening the fish Trevor exclaims:
"What is this Sam a part of a golden key"
Inside the fish was the other part of the key that belonged to Argamon's vault, but these Goblins didn't know what awaited them with this discovery.
They kept that part of the key for a few days and promised that they would never talk about it, but that part of the key seemed to have a power over them, when they touched it or looked at it they seemed to be trapped by it, they could see the future and the past in a few seconds. minutes and something held them to her.
The village after two days was surrounded by black knights under the command of Argamon, they had the power to sense where the other part of the key was, it was enough to feel its presence.
Sam and Trevor didn't know what was going on, but these knights set the village on fire and just said, "The key where the other part of the key is, I can feel it, that power is near."
Sam and Trevor knew that the black knights wanted the other part of the key and before long the mystery would be unraveled.
Sam and Trevor, seeking to get the other part of the key to safety, climbed the Plim Mountains and when Trevor was going to take the key out of his coat pocket, it fell into a dark crevice where the White Arrow the sage was resting.
The key part landed in his chest and on top of his heart.
A radiant light came out of that crack.
"What is it, Sam?" asked Trevor.
For an instant silence flooded that place the light white as lime made that place light up and suddenly next to Sam and Trevor there appeared a man dressed in white, with a long beard and white as his long hair and even the cloak he carried was white with only a staff in his right hand.
Sam and Trevor couldn't open their eyes fully and heard a voice that said:
"You my little ones, and great beings have a mission to fulfill"
Sam and Trevor were terrified of the wise White Arrow talking to them and giving them a quest, but what was the same.
"Come with me and I'll explain" said the wise White Arrow.
Sam and Trevor felt they were traveling in time, they landed in a wonderful place full of light, where the grass was white and the animals spoke the language of Men.
"This was the world before Argamon, this was the world where the earth was full of light, where animals spoke like people and where there were no wars, this was the world that was bound with the four elements by Argamon.
Argamon was a boy like you, but in this kingdom he was often ridiculed and censured, he was not part of decisions and when he grew up he wanted revenge.
He assumed a superhuman form and although I and other sages of the time tried to stop him, he fought, fought until the end.
He was defeated but did not die, he discovered a magical vault and imprisoned the four elements within it: earth, air, water and fire, and wished that the darkness where we sent him would return to reign on Earth. "
"But this quest is not for two such small and weak Goblins" said Sam to the wise White Arrow.
"Yes, my friends, the mission is for you, the other part of the key to Argamon's vault was discovered by you and only you can free the four elements." said the White Arrow to the Goblins Sam and Trevor.
"The mission is long but here's what you have to do, first I want you to put this part of the key around your neck so that nobody steals it and you only lose it if they cut off your head" laughed the wise White Arrow and asked Trevor to put the key around the neck on a string made of palm tree.
This is the way to Argamon's cave, where he has the vault with the imprisoned elements. Go to the valley of death and be careful this valley is full of dead bodies, they say if you take a wrong step and step out of the way you will never be seen again. Then the fiery desert, where there is a Dragon, it is better not to wake him up, otherwise
he will avenge and burn you and then our hope is gone and finally go up the lost mountain where Argamone is trapped with the chest and unite the two parts of the key then turn the lock to the right. Go and don't look back" asked the wise White Arrow.
They went there, in their doubts and with the key around Trevor's neck many times he felt possessed by it, they arrived at a lake and as soon as they took a step they were already in water up to their waist.
They were in the valley of hundreds and hundreds of corpses staring at them, even though they were immersed in its waters.
"Sam, Sam help me" asked Trevor.
Trevor had fallen into the lagoon and something was pulling him down, hundreds and hundreds of corpses seemed to be sinking him, but Sam, his traveling companion, grabbed him.
Trevor and Sam, panting, could not contain their breath and Trevor's first concern was to see if he had the wire with the top part of the key around his neck and when he saw that he had, he felt relieved.
They walked and walked, wet until something warm seemed to be approaching.
"Trevor looks like I'm hallucinating, all I see is fire before my eyes." Said Sam
"Wait Sam, the key is calling, I'm hot."
A plain full of volcanoes and lava was in front of us.
"I don't know if I'm going to make it Sam, I'm on fire," Trevor would say.
"I also don't know if I can get Trevor this mission should never have been for us, we are as fragile beings as we can have this mission to save the world" said Sam
They walked on tiptoe, and the lava falling right at his feet, Trevor began to hallucinate.
"Come on Sam, there's a freshwater lake, let's go."
"No Trevor there is a lava lake, stop." Sam told Trevor.
Trevor couldn't take it anymore and while running he bumped into something and collided with the fire desert dragon."
He fell and the wire with the key jumped out of his neck and pirouetted in the air with Trevor and Sam gaping helplessly, landing on top of the dragon's nose.
The dragon tossed and tossed, it was in a deep sleep and placed a paw on top of its head, thus trapping the key and the string.
"What now Sam? asked Trevor
"I don't know Trevor it's impossible to get the key out of there I think we failed, the world is lost." Sam said with tears in his eyes.
Trevor closed his eyes and heard the voice of the wise White Arrow say:
"You know, only you can do this, get the feather that's on the eagle's tail, that's the way."
Trevor didn't quite understand he looked, and he looked again and saw a huge eagle that landed right on top of a huge branch of a dead tree next to the fire desert dragon.
"Trevor, I think I'm good at riddles, I know." said sam
"Tell Sam what the plan is, what an eagle, a dragon has to do and we're here in the middle of so much fire that's burning us.
It makes no sense.
"Yes, Trevor approaches the eagle and picks up a real feather."
That's what Trevor did without understanding very well because he took an eagle's feather and it soon took off and disappeared into infinity.
"Then and Now Sam"
"Wait, I'm thinking a feather, an eagle, a dragon, yes I know," said Sam, bouncing up and down with a grin.
"Trevor goes next to the dragon of the fire desert and tickles him and when he lifts his paw from the wire with the key before returning to land again, you take the wire with the part of the key you have to be quick, and we are small , but we're fast" said Sam
"Yes, Sam, I'll hurry, wait here for me behind this rock." said Trevor.
Trevor goes on tiptoe and reaches the dragon's side and with the feather tickles his nose, the dragon seems to be moving and Trevor stops breathing.
Suddenly the dragon gives a big sneeze and causes the wire with the key to rise in the air and Trevor is pushed into a pool of lava only to be caught with one hand before falling and dying.
Sam goes to his aid, grabs Trevor's hand and with the other almost miraculously manages to grab the end of the wire with the wrench part.
"Thanks Sam without you I couldn't do it." said Trevor.
There they continued on their way, the key, each time she had more and more influence over Trevor he sometimes hallucinated seeing ghostly figures, he felt himself falling into precipices and if it weren't for Sam he would have already given up.
"We're here Trevor should be here." said Sam to Trevor
A huge mountain stretched right in front of her and on top black guardians mounted on dragons seemed to guard something.
"What now, Trevor?" asked Sam.
"We will never reach the vault where the four elements are imprisoned, these guardians of darkness are everywhere." said trevor
"Come on, I'm going to distract them remember that I used to have parties in our village and I still have some pyrotechnic devices in my pocket, they're going to explode I'm going to put them away and as soon as they explode they're going to tie the black guardians and you go up the mountain you reach the safe and turn right like the wise White Arrow told you, don't worry about me I'll be fine."
Sam ran and ran between the stones and the darkness that there was in that place, sometimes some black guardians passed by him and he had to stop running so as not to be seen.
The squeal of the dragons as they passed made Sam shudder and was heard "The key I feel part of the key is here I can feel it."
Sam arrived there and placed explosives next to some rocks, but now he had no fire to light the explosive fuse.
He had an idea he had to make a dragon breathe fire and light the fuse of the explosives, but as there could only be one way he had to risk his life and make the dragon see him and he did.
"I have the key here" said Sam and intended to send the key to the explosives.
The dark guardians were attracted by Sam and flew towards him spitting fire in all directions.
Until one hit the fuse and the explosives exploded and it was day with the fireworks illuminating that place.
Trevor however had entered the mountain and the black guardians saw only in the darkness, with the explosions of the fireworks they were blinded and Trevor discovered a small cave where there was a safe on top of a tombstone.
"It's this one, it can only be this one." Trevor said to himself.
When Trevor approached, he saw that he was a few steps away from the key inserted in his lock and without wasting time, he removed the other part of the key that was on the wire around his neck and when he approached the two parts of the key, they joined sure, now all that was left was to turn the key.
Suddenly, the mountain began to shake and Trevor fell to the ground. He still hadn't turned the key in the lock, Sam's trickery was over and the dark guardians were back.
Trevor crawled across the floor as best he could and turned the vault key to the right just as he already had two dark guardians pulling him by his feet.
The cave lit up, a deafening scream was heard and from inside the vault, as if it were smoke, a vent came out, flooding the cave, followed by a gust of fire, a piece of earth and drops of water.
The elements came back to earth the darkness disappeared and when Trevor left the mountain he could already see the sun shining on the snow white clouds, the grass was growing in the meadows, the animals fed and drank in the waterholes.
"Sam, where are you? shouted Trevor
"Here, down here" replied
Trevor and Sam gave a big hug and at the end mounted on a white horse the wise White Arrow appears laughing and said "You my little ones saved the world, size doesn't matter, what matters is willpower, determination and above all believe in a better world.
And so the earth was rid of the darkness and the elements were released.
And Argamon was destroyed.
